I've tried many items from there. The shakes, fried mushrooms, Greek salad are my go tos. Everything always tastes fresh

Nice burger and burito which has great flavor. The food was fantastic and has nice options. The Pastrami burger was flavorful and taste so good. Packed of stuffing with bacon and patty which was nicely seasoned. Freshly made sandwich and it was so tasty, the fries were nicely seasoned and well-fried. The staff was so friendly.

Food is really good it's a local spot and prices are good too comfy place to eat has a good atmosphere

Your basic burger type joint, but with better service. The staff was very friendly and brought the food out to us. They checked on us multiple times in case we needed anything. That's very uncommon for a place like this. They also have a nice outdoor sitting area which was calm and relaxing. We came across this place because we were looking for a lettuce wrapped burger and didn't want to wait in the long in-n-out line. They were able to accommodate and the burger tasted good.

We just had the Chicken California melt, BLT and French toast and the food was very fresh and tasty! They service was fantastic! Ambiance is standard for a restaurant, clean, organized, with ample condiments on the table. We had a wonderful experience with two kiddos. Thank you!

Solid spot to satisfy cravings! My wife and I come here when we want asada breakfast burritos and pastrami chili cheese fries. The portions are big and we usually have leftovers or share a large plate. We love that the food is always made fresh and never over cooked or salty. The staff is always friendly and the drive can get busy on the weekends.

Entering into the drive - way of Lomita's best, you will find a nice size parking lot, where you're able to drive thru if you don't want to eat inside. A local diner that features great tasting hamburgers with nice crunchy non greasy fries! other great selections are the pastrami and chicken sandwiches plus all burritos! Lomita' best have better prices than most restaurants in the area and great portions which you won't leave hungry. This last time, I came for their Chile Verde with eggs, which had nice chunks of pork meat and very tasty mild sauce. I ordered the eggs over medium and were perfectly cooked and went well together with the beans and rice!

Fast food grill place with breakfasts and lunch type fare. They have wraps, salads, and Mexican food too. The people who work here seem friendly and nice. They're busy, but they're not stressed out or rude. The place is clean inside and there are a lot of people here at lunch. For my first time i'm getting a blt w/avocado. The sandwich is good. They use a kind of thousand island spread instead of mayo, which was unexpected, but not bad. The onion rings are fine. They're definitely frozen. But they're cooked well. This is a pretty good lunch spot and I'll be back to try other things. It's a 4 for a grill burger/sandwich place.

Hubbers and I just finished unloading donations off the car at Savers not too far away and since it's the lunch hour, and doing my diligent search, I suggested we try this place out. And that's how we found ourselves here. We had the pup with us, so it was going to be a takeout order. I took the time to go through their menu a couple of days before, so it was either gonna be the chicken fried steak and eggs or the pastrami burger. The sammich won out because that's what I ended up being in the mood for. I also got a side of deep fried mushrooms. Hubbers got a chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries to share. It's a 15-minute drive back home, but our food held its temp pretty well. DEEP FRIED MUSHROOMS: They are incredibly generous with this! I decided to take it out of the bag and put 'em in a bowl, and it was plenty - plenty enough leftovers for a small snack later in the day. The batter was great, the mushroom was great, but for the love of food, Lomita's Best! Please heed your customers' suggestions and season it! A little salt and pepper will do this side so much better! The side of ranch helped, but if they just add some taste to the batter, the ranch may not even be necessary. CHILI CHEESE FRIES: Like the mushroom, they were generous with this as well. The flavor is on point. They were also generous with the amount of chili and cheese. PASTRAMI BURGER: The buns were soft and fluffy. The burger was cooked well. Veggies were fresh. The pastrami, however, I felt needed a little more time on the grill. It might have helped popped a bit more of its flavor. Otherwise, it was delicious. And like the mushrooms and chili cheese fries, it, too, was generous in size. After having the starters, I was only able to consume half. Saved the other half for a 2nd meal to go with the leftover 'shrooms. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 3. Only snag is that when I was putting in my sammich order, the server said, "Pastrami cheeseburger." I had to correct her to make sure I didn't get a cheeseburger, "No, pastrami burger, no cheese please." I thought it odd when she came back with, "Pastrami burger, same thing." Uhm... no. It's not. And for someone who doesn't like cheese on their burgers, that makes a whole world of difference. I'm glad I made that clear. VALUE: 4. It's a bargain. PARKING: They have a private lot. Most spots were occupied during our stop. They do have a following! OVERALL: 4. They are popular. There were a couple of cars ahead of us and a line formed behind us in the duration we were there. That's a pretty good tell how good this place is! There's a nice history behind this family-owned place. It's a short and interesting read. If you have a minute, read about it! We're rarely around this area, but they are now on my radar next time we come around - if only to try the chicken fried steak and eggs! Maybe we'll dine in for that next time...

It's a stretch but I would say this is Lomita's pretty good. This place which looks like a former Taco Bell is popular, very clean, good service and serves a solid burger. I ordered the Garden Burger which I was pleased with along with onion rings. The rings were not greasy at all but unique, slightly sweet and more of a cornmeal batter rather than flour. The patio seating outside was pleasant. Parking in the small lot. Would come back!
